The South Australian Foresight Community of Practice will gather for the final time this year at MOD. on Tuesday, November 17th. We will be joined by visiting futurist Dexter Docherty.
Dexter is an International Foresight Expert (Paris) who specialises in geosecurity, geofinance and technology futures. He has led scenario processes with senior government officials from around the world, was the lead author on the OECD's Strategic Foresight Toolkit for Resilient Public Policy and a co-author and designer of OECD foresight work on AI, gold and global markets, geoengineering and the futures of multilateralism. Dexter has worked at Policy Horizons Canada and the Canadian Justice Department, has a masters degree in Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation from the University of Oxford and a bachelor's degree in history from McGill University.
Come learn from Dexter, mingle with other futures-curious people across industries, and view MOD.'s Beginnings exhibition for the last time before it closes on November 20th.
Drinks and snacks will be available from 5:30 pm, with short presentations commencing at 6:00 pm. The gathering is free to attend, with registration essential.
